Our Founder
George Muscat began his journey in the property development and construction industry in the 1970s. Over the years, he led a wide range of projects, from small residential blocks to large-scale developments, including the landmark Fort Cambridge in Sliema.
Beyond his involvement with the Group, Mr Muscat was a shareholder and director in several other companies focused on construction, real estate, and development. Among these is GAP Holdings Limited (C 27803), known for delivering various residential and commercial projects across Malta.
Under his leadership, the GAP Group of Companies built an impressive portfolio of properties, catering to a wide range of market segments.
George Muscat was also a director and 50% shareholder of Bay Street Holdings Limited (C 12058), the company behind the Bay Street Shopping Complex in Paceville, St Julian’s. Today, Bay Street is a vibrant entertainment destination, home to over 70 retail outlets, restaurants, a language school, and both a 4-star and a 5-star hotel.
